Welcome to the web page for people who appreciate and support the wonderful city parks of Mt. Shasta in far northern California. Friends of the Parks Mt. Shasta is dedicated to sharing news about the Mt. Shasta Recreation and Parks District, and gathering support for needed activities, repairs and facilities.
And of course the main thing any of us can do is donate to the Mt. Shasta City Park fund at the Community Foundation of the North State.

There are so many ways to support our wonderful Mt. Shasta Parks and Sports Fields. We can visit them, walk with friends and toss a frisbee, give feedback and attention to the workings of the staff and needs of the facilities, and advocate for support in the community.
