From its origins in northern Nevada, the Owyhee flows north through the high desert canyonlands of eastern Oregon. Rafting the Owyhee is a week in the wilderness. These three panels were painted on a single day in late April sitting under a makeshift shade tarp in the hot springtime sun at the foot of these dramatic cliffs.
